Ride To Conquer Cancer – Vancouver To Seattle – Saturday August 27

Cloverdale – The Ride to Conquer Cancer® presented by Silver Wheaton® benefiting BC Cancer Foundation is an epic, two-day cycling event spanning over 200 kilometres through picturesque scenery! Our vision is clear – A World Free From Cancer. Join us on August 27-28, 2016 for the Ride of your life!

Ride to Conquer

The money you raise for The Ride to Conquer Cancer® will benefit BC Cancer Foundation and support leading clinicians, scientists, and researchers whose search for new discoveries and improved patient outcomes will have a real impact in our communities throughout the province, across Canada, and around the world.

There is a new addition to this year’s Ride to Conquer Cancer, and it’s called e-PACT, and its aim is to keep riders safe in the event of a medical emergency.

The ePACT emergency network is honored to work alongside The Ride to Conquer Cancer presented by Silver Wheaton, benefiting BC Cancer Foundation, enhancing safety communication and support to thousands of riders in the 2016 event, this August.

By adopting ePACT, the Ride to Conquer Cancer will be able to instantly communicate with the thousands of riders during the event, while also having access to critical health details if someone requires care. If there is an unexpected route change, extreme weather warning, or other issue, organizers can send notifications to all riders and volunteers via text and voice message to ensure their safety and awareness of any impacts.

For Kirsten Koppang Telford, ePACT’s Co-Founder and COO, this partnership has special meaning. “I know firsthand how this event has an incredible impact on everyone involved, and we are so thrilled to play a part in supporting their riders and team,” Telford explains. The 2016 Ride to Conquer Cancer will be Telford’s third year participating in the event.

Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. Register now and join us on an Epic Ride to end cancer!

You’ll proudly follow The Ride route out of metropolitan Vancouver as the urban landscape gradually gives way to broad, lush valleys and rolling farmlands.
