Abbotsford Robbery – Shot Fired

Abbotsford, BC – On Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 10:15 am the Abbotsford Police Department was called to a bank robbery in the 2600 block of Clearbrook Road. According to witnesses at the bank a firearm was discharged during the robbery but fortunately there were no injuries.

APD Patrol Division Officers, Major Crime Detectives and Forensic Identification Unit members are all involved in the investigation. At this point the type of firearm that was discharged, whether real or replica has not been determined.

The suspect involved in the robbery fled the bank on foot. He is described as a Caucasian male, 6’0” tall, wearing a long olive coloured trench coat, blue jeans, white runners and a plastic/latex mask over his face. The suspect was also carrying a tan backpack.
