Almost Time For Chilliwack Chiefs Hockey

Chilliwack, BC – The 2015-2016 season for the BCHL Chilliwack Chiefs is just days away. August 28 is the first game of the silly season (Read – exhibition season) on the road against the Surrey Eagles.

The Chiefs kick off the 2015-16 regular season on home ice on Saturday September 12th against last season’s first round playoff opponent, the Coquitlam Express. The Chiefs won that best of seven series four games to one. That night will also feature a special performance by Magician and Illusionist Damien Carriere.

Twenty two of the Chiefs 28 regular season home games will be played on weekends including 12 Saturday games, six Sundays and four Fridays. The remaining six home games will be played on Wednesdays including the Chiefs fourth annual Fill the Rink for the Food Bank Night on December 30th vs the Surrey Eagles

The Bauer BCHL Showcase, featuring all 17 BCHL teams will take place at Prospera Centre September 24-27th.

Some other key nights scheduled for this season:

Western Night: Sunday October 25th 5pm vs Alberni Valley Bulldogs.

Chilliwack Sports Hall of Fame induction Night: Saturday November 14th vs Prince George Spruce Kings.

SPCA Night brought to you by Oly’s Pet Connections: Saturday January 9th vs Trail Smoke Eaters.

Minor Hockey Night: Sunday February 21st vs Cowichan Valley Capitals.

The Chiefs are also pleased to welcome back Fraser Valley Party Rentals to select games with their popular Bouncy Castle.

All Chiefs home games will once again feature a live band.
