Abbotsford, BC – On Tuesday evening July 28, 2015, (9:45 pm), the Abbotsford Police Department was called to a robbery at Subway restaurant in the 1900 block of McCallum Road.
A male suspect entered the restaurant with a large duffle bag and a handgun. He demanded cash from one of the three employees in the business and exited through a rear door.
The suspect was described as a tanned male, approximately 5’8” tall, wearing a face covering or balaclava and a black hoodie with a large “Adidas” logo and white stripes.
He was also wearing a distinctive bracelet on his left wrist. *Garments appear blue on the security video still images but are actually black.
On Thursday, July 30, 2015, at 10:05 pm, the Abbotsford Police Department was called to the same Subway restaurant for another reported robbery. A male suspect with a handgun and a backpack demanded cash from one of the staff. The suspect was wearing a black ski-mask, black leather jacket and black pants. *Garments appear blue on the security video still images but are actually black.
These robberies are being investigated by the Major Crime Unit of the Abbotsford Police Department.
