Chilliwack Man Picked Up On Outstanding Warrant

Chilliwack, BC – One man is in custody after being arrested on an outstanding warrant by police Wednesday evening.

On July 15, 2015 at around 7:45 p.m. officers of the RCMP Crime Reduction Unit observed Taylor Cole Thompson, age 30 of Chilliwack, near a convenience store in area of Yale Road and Hazel Street.

“A warrant of arrest for Breach of Probation had been issued by Provincial Court for Thompson and police were following reports he had frequented the store”, said Cpl. Mike Rail.

As officers closed in to make the arrest Thompson bolted but was taken into custody by police after a short foot chase.
