Abbotsford – On Tuesday (June 9, 2015), Larry Early Fisher, an inmate at Pacific Institution died at the institutional hospital.
(Pacific Institution was also known as Sumas/Matsqui Institution)
At the time of his death, Mr. Fisher, 65 years old, had been serving a Life sentence for Rape and Non-Capital murder since January 4, 2000.
The inmate’s next of kin have been notified of his death.
As in all cases involving death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified, and the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
